2011 Hair Trends: Feathers, feathers, feathers! Calling all colored feathers! That’s right! A new temporary hair

Yes!, the bob is back, not just straight bob's wavy bob’s too! In 2011 influences from the 20th century are making
a comeback! Short haircuts are influenced by the 1960’s and mid-length haircuts influenced by the 70’s
are allover this spring runaway’s. Or, if you want a easy change without cutting off all your hair give yourself
some bangs! Fringe/bangs or a bob with bangs.

For those of you whom are sassy and love short hair, great news!
The pixie crop haircut that was last popular in 2007 is now back in 2011!

January, and February are our driest months of the year so we all need to remember to use a good
hydrating shampoo and conditioner. Warm your hair and heart and give yourself a once a week deep conditioning
treatment with this homemade recipe:
1/2 c mayonnaise
1/4 olive oil
1 egg yolk

1. Apply on clean damp hair
2. Leave in for 10-15 min. (intensify heat with a plastic hair bag).
3. Rinse out!

FASHION ACCESSORY TRENDS FOR WINTER 2011
The Winter Fashion Season is an ideal time to amp up ones wardrobe. Sexy style with sultry appeal
will make heads turn. The hottest fashion accessory trends for 2011 include metallic hair bands, crystal jewelry,
fingerless gloves and LOTS LOTS MORE which can all be found and purchased at SALON TAO through

1. HEADBANDS
Create a sexy and flirtatious look with a gorgeous rhinestone or sequence metallic hair band.
Add a retro inspired crystal ring and some ornate chandelier earrings to complete the look. Headbands are versatile
accessories that can be worn to special events including holiday parties, weddings and festive events. They are
also a great way to create a sexy chic style on an everyday basis. Wear headbands with skinny jeans, a tunic and
long cardigan or with trousers, a fitted blouse and a military inspired cropped jacket.

Real, fake, and irregularly-shaped freshwater - complement the season's
retro 1950s and 1960s ladylike looks.

5. METAL CUFFS
that circle the wrist make a bold fashion statement. Look for gold, silver,
and copper tones, smooth or engraved, plain or adorned with colorful crystals.

6. Last but not least: FEATHERS!!
Yes, feathers. Although there are nt many people walking up and
down the street in feathered capes or feathered skirts, these have been appearing in fashion magazines
such as W and Vogue and even on the runway. Unfortunately, there arent many retailers who
carry feathered accessories because they tend to be very unique and hard to find. Feather earrings,
rings, cuffs and necklaces will be a part of everyones wardrobe in 2011.
